I use mine on business trips 3 to 4 times a week and apparently it just isn't made for long term use? It's still cheaper than buying ice, so I will probably order another one. Customer Rating: Summary: Neat little cooler Comment: We purchased this unit to keep stuff cold on the long drives to camping. It worked well, keeping the food cold and not making much noise. We "pre chilled" the unit about an hour or so before leaving, using the AC adapter. We loaded up the cooler with the frozen/cold items, plugged it in, then mvoed it to the car later. Worked like a charm. It is just the right size for our family, not taking up too much space in our Rav4 yet large enough to hold what we usually take on our trips.
