Customer Rating: Summary: Necessary spare part Comment: This spare part is necessary due to the fragile nature of the ceramic insulator in the Jetboil. Ours broke when our Jetboil fell off a rock 2 feet to the ground. Fortunately there is always the emergency match to substitute for the igniter in the field. I gave my review 4 stars only because I feel that the Jetboil insulator design should be a bit more sturdy than it is. Customer Rating: Summary: Keep this one on hand Comment: This little kit is often out-of-stock at our local REI. While we love the Jetboil, these small pieces often break. Keep an extra maintenance kit on hand.
