Summary: Tepid coffee
Comment: I've tried every tip in the book with this vacuum bottle. My coffee will NOT stay hot. After a short drive to work, it's only warm. Outside of bottle feels warm, so heat is escaping. This is the second Stanley I've had and I am really not happy with Stanley products. Am I just unlucky enough to get TWO bad bottles? Stupid me for deciding to give it another try. I'm taking it back to the store.
Why does everyone else have piping hot coffee with these things? I'd give it NO stars if I could.

Summary: Good Thermos
Comment: This thermos, especially when pre-heated with water, will keep the coffee 'hot' for 24 hours, much to my surprise. It will keep it 'steaming hot' for 8+ hours, too.
The advertising on the sides, etc., are made of a cardboard material, and can easily be removed (if you wish it). They wouldn't make it through a couple of cleanings, I don't think, anyway.
If there was ANY change I'd like to see, I'd like to see the lip/seal on the thermos (where the cap sits) to be less sharp, or fine point. There are times when you're wanting a quick sip of coffee, but neither have the time (or extra hand) to pour the coffee into a cup. Lifting it, and drinking directly from the thermos would be nice. Tried it; too sharp of an edge for me.
When cleaning, be sure you dry the outside thoroughly, esp., along the seams where the plastic grips, etc., meet the metal. Otherwise, when you pick up the thermos, you'll find a ring of water (puddle) sitting where the thermos was.

thermos holds over 24 hrs an food jar holds 16 hrs . i purchased as
gift for nephew who likes it alot , it was a good buy ,and good price
on amazon..

Comment: I received this product quickly and it works great. The thermos is good looking and keeps coffee rocket hot for a long time (don't forget to temper first with hot water). It's nice to have a design that's a little different from the old models. I like the new handle. Lid is cool too. I'd buy it again.
