Summary: Great Compact Stove
Comment: We recently took this stove camping with us in Utah. We were very tight on space so I found this stove and thought it would be a good replacement for our other full size Coleman stove.

Setup was very easy with simply unlatching the stove and unfolding it outwards. The burner grates are stored upside down and it was easy to remove them and set them up. Hooking up the propane line (stored in the middle when the stove is folded) was easy. We were cooking in less than 2 minutes after unpacking.

When it came time to cook, the first feature I fell in love with was the auto ignition. On my old stove it required a match and this was not such a major issue unless you were cooking on a low setting. Any gust of wind or slight mis-adjustment of the valve caused the flame to out and lightning of another match. The Fold n Go stove was simple to ignite. A great feature

Our first concern was how high the grate sat away from the burner. I had concerns about cooking in the wind and if this would be a problem. This was realized our first night of camping as it was very windy. It took about 15 minutes to boil water (about 3 cups worth). Also the valve/flame adjustment was very sensitive with only a slight adjustment causing the flame to go from low to high. These flaws are why I did not give it 5 stars.

However, we did find a work around for the high grate. We simply left the grate upside down in it's stored position. With our medium to large size pots we were able to cook very close to the flame and avoid the issue of the flame being to far from the burner when it was windy. This would not work for smaller pots as they would end up sitting right on the burner possibly damaging them as well as the auto ignition components.

All in all I am happy with this stove. It's compact size, auto ignition, and extreme ease in setup make it a good replacement for our full size coleman.

Summary: Tailgate Star
Comment: A bit heavy, imo, for the backpack, but perfect for the tailgate, or for living quarters. Neatly folds up into a self-contained package. May be attached either to 16.4 oz propane cannisters or 5 gallon or larger tanks. The grill tops are huge - larger in circumference than standard stove-top coils, copious. The burners are powerful and can be smoothly adjusted through a continuous range of medium to low flame. The unit is solidly constructed and the design is the current state of the art for large portable stoves.

Summary: good stove
Comment: I bought this because I'm backpacking/ bike camping with a picky 5 year old. It's vital to have two burners going at once. Stove is great no lack of fire power. I found it adjusts easily and holds it's setting on any range from low- high. It's make your own wind block and that has been simple enough. Electric ignition is a real gas to use.

Summary: Very well-designed and built.
Comment: I don't know how we ever made it without this little jewel. I have been wanting one of these stoves for years but I finally got one at the last minute on the way out of town for a camping trip because they were on sale at the Coleman outlet store. It made the best breakfasts, lunches, and dinners ever. It is incredibly sturdy and holds 2 12" cast iron dutch ovens at the same time with ease. All of my friends were jealous and swore they would be picking one up before the next outting. Good job Coleman! I can't recommend it highly enough. It didn't use much propane and the "Instastart" feature really works well. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars.

Summary: Works very well - 4 1/2 stars
Comment: This replaced an old 2-burner fold-up box grill. If you value portability this is definitely worth getting.
PROS:
- Very compact when folded, easy to carry, assemble, store.
- Cooks food quickly, even in mild winds.
- Instant ignition works well.
- Wider grates allow for bigger pans (though due to having no wind screens)
CONS:
- A wind screen would be nice, but you can always put something nearby instead.
- Dials are mostly 'full-on', so it's hard to turn down to a simmer without extinguishing the flame.. but it is do-able.

Editorial Reviews:

The Coleman Fold 'N Go two-burner stove is ideal for the camper who cares about portability while depending on the most trusted brand in Family Camping, Coleman. The stove is about 25% more compact than traditional two-burner stoves, and is ideal for carrying since the burners can be folded together into an easy carrying stove. Each burner has 10,000 BTU's of power and can be used on low to simmer a sauce or on high to boil water quickly. It has a 13-inch wide diameter that makes it great for the campsite.
