Comment: Excellent prodcut. Use it at the campground for cooking everything from eggs, pancakes to steaks. Folds up neatly, cleans up nice

Summary: Regulator has a dangerous defect
Comment: Have been happy users of this model for two summers now. Lately have noticed that the cartridges were lasting a shorter time. Then a few days ago, with the unit out of use on the sunny deck, I smelled gas, then I heard the sound of gas leaking. Found the location to be an overload valve in the regulator.
The cannister bled empty. With the unit in the shade I am not able to get the vent to re-close; a new canister starts leaking right away.
Had a flame come close to this, it would have been dangerous.
And so far none of the local stores have any advice, or a replacement regulator.

Summary: Best Grill Ever!
Comment: We bought this grill to replace an older full size grill for our camper after the old one tipped over in transit, spilled all over, and cut a hole in the laminate floor. Being able to fold this all the way down and store in the nifty carry bag is fantastic! No mess, no spills! I have purchased both the extra grill plate and griddle plate and am going to purchase the full size griddle without the drip holes for making French toast while camping. We've had this grill for going on 5 years, and if I ever have to, I'll be replacing it with exactly the same one!

Summary: Pretty nice, compact + portable
Comment: I got this as a gift, and have to say it is really nice. It dosen't take up much space, and the two shelves can be removed (although it takes some muscle) which is great for apt. decks w/o a lot of room. If I remember corrctly it comes with 2 grills, and you can buy a griddle which I also got (it is nice for sautéing veggies, or doing even pancakes - and a breeze to clean ).
The only problem I have had is with cleaning the 2 grills. When I have scrubbed it with a OXO plastic scrubber the black coating on the grill has slowly come off, I don't know if this is okay to still use (Does any one else have this problem?), but it hasn't started rusting. But I would still recommend this product.

Summary: Camping Godsend!
Comment: I've owned one of these for three years, using it about a dozen times each year on camping trips. Of all the gear I bring, this is one of my most beloved pieces.
Setup at the campsite takes two to three minutes MAX (minus balancing!) and cleanup is, for the most part, a snap. A water-filled pan underneath each of the burners catches fat, etc. from cooking and is easy to clean up by simple draining and wipe-down with a paper towel or two until you can get home and treat it properly with some Dawn.
The legs are definitely sturdy enough to support the weight of the grill and several pounds of meat. The side shelves can support several pounds more; while small, they connect via metal rods to the legs of the stand, and you're almost more likely to tilt the grill than snap a shelf.
Complaints?
-The hooks on the front of the grill are too fat to hook your tools.
-Balancing the thing, which is necessary considering the fat collects in a water dish, is sometimes difficult even though the "feet" adjust to about half an inch. You'll probably have to jam a couple of dead wood sticks under some of the feet to achieve a decent balance for this.
-Cleaning the grills thoroughly is a bit difficult too since along the "slits" there are raised sections, which makes a groove into which burned material can settle. Get some cheap plastic spoons to waste on scraping it off, unless your thumbnails are worth sacrificing.
-Also the slits from the grill, through which the fat drains, will gather burned cooking material which is difficult to dislodge. Since your food never touches that part, though, you may be okay with that. Personally, after scrubbing it manually with a brush and some Dawn, I stick it in the dishwasher. The drip pan might just fit in yours without removing the top rack.
In the end and despite my MINOR complaints, this thing is totally worth it; considering the options for grill replacements, its versatility alone makes it a great single solution for cooking at the campsite.
