Customer Rating: Summary: A Large Beautiful Book Atlas Comment: We shared these atlas books as Christmas gifts in 2007 to rave reviews of family & friends. This is a very large atlas with thick plastic covers, thick paper, easy-to-read print, lots of colors, and a durable spiral binding which allows the book to stay open on any page. Because it has extra information on national and state parks, it is thick. And with the great colors & additional information, it is more than a place to look for a highway or exit number, it's a pleasure to peruse while you dream up future adventures as well.
If you are looking for a new atlas, I would highly recommend this product as it is gorgeous, usable, and durable. If you are looking for a guide to all the national parks, state parks, and private RV parks in America - this is not your product.
Bon Appetit!
Customer Rating: Summary: Road Atlas Comment: We used this book on a 2 week trip covering 5 states. Although the RV sites listed had what services were offered, there weren't that many listed. We found many RV places to stay while on our trip. We used the map but it is large and heavy. Info on parks, as I recall, was adequate.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good Extra Info Comment: What I liked best about this atlas is the extra information. The RV campsite list is good but I there is also a list of every state park in country with full contact information.
Customer Rating: Summary: Disappointing atlas Comment: This atlas is typical of others in that it gives good views of individual state roadways. The problem is that it is supposed to be an RV atlas, showing campgrounds throughout the states. It does show 3-5 campgrounds per state, but woefully inadequate to be of any use to RV travelers. Stick with Trailer Life and Good Sam's atlas if you want useful RV info.
